Indianapolis, IN – December 2024 – Katz, Sapper & Miller (KSM), a top-tier advisory, tax, and audit firm with FY23 net revenue of $144.9 million, has revealed plans to relocate its corporate headquarters within Indianapolis by mid-2026. The firm’s new 81,000-square-foot space, located at Six Parkwood, 600 E. 96th St., will be designed to meet the evolving needs of its workforce, emphasizing flexibility, collaboration, and innovation. The move is slated for the summer of 2026.
This reimagined headquarters, situated in the Parkwood Crossing office park near KSM’s current location, will span portions of the first, third, and fourth floors of the building. The firm will also have room for further expansion within the building.
“Our investment in this new space reflects our commitment to empowering our employees to grow their careers and deliver outstanding results for our clients,” said Tim Cook, CEO and president of KSM. “This move reinforces our identity as an independent, employee-owned firm. We’re excited to collaborate with our design partners to create a modern workspace that embodies our vibrant culture and supports our vision for the future. Whether based in Indianapolis, a regional office, or fully remote, this new space will better accommodate all KSM employees, enabling meaningful collaboration, team building, and client service.”
A Destination for Connection and Growth
KSM’s headquarters will prioritize hybrid work, offering a destination for in-person collaboration, mentorship, and training while maintaining flexibility for employees. The space will feature adaptable workstations and amenities designed for post-pandemic workforce needs. Employees from across the country will gather at the headquarters for firm-wide events, professional development, and relationship-building activities.
Rapid Growth and National Expansion
Since 2021, KSM has more than doubled its workforce, now employing 750 team members nationwide, including 360 in the Indianapolis metro area. The firm has expanded through strategic acquisitions, including Cincinnati-based Cassady Schiller (70 employees) in June 2024 and New York City-based Shanholt Glassman Klein Kramer & Co. (65 employees) in November 2024.
Recognized as an Employer of Choice
KSM has consistently been recognized for its employee-centric culture. For 19 consecutive years, it has been named one of Indiana’s Best Places to Work. Additionally, KSM ranked 18th on Vault’s 2025 Accounting 25, a list of the best accounting employers in North America and received accolades from the Women’s Fund of Greater Fort Wayne for fostering equitable workplaces for women.
Partnership with JLL
The firm collaborated with JLL, a global commercial real estate leader, to select and secure its new headquarters. JLL will also oversee the buildout of the space, ensuring it aligns with KSM’s vision for a modern, forward-thinking workspace.
KSM’s planned relocation underscores its commitment to fostering growth, innovation, and employee well-being while setting the stage for continued success as an independent, employee-owned firm.
Until next time…
