A registrant must report, at a minimum, the CPE hours required for the registration renewal period. Hours that exceed the number required for the current registration renewal period may not be carried forward to a subsequent registration renewal period.
You are in non-compliance if you do not complete at least 80 hours of acceptable CPE by December 31. Penalty hours will be assessed on all extensions at half of the amount of the CPE that you are short. For example, if you are short 14 CPE credits, you will be assessed 7 penalty CPE credits. You will be required to submit a total of 21 CPE credits by April 30th in order to be in compliance.
Note: If deadlines are not met, not only will you be monetarily fined, you may not be eligible to renew your license in the active status.
