TIM RYAN has been with Sheltered Harbor since January 2017 and currently serves as Managing Director of Adherence. Tim also serves as an adjunct professor at Fordham University Gabelli School teaching IT Audit / Information Assurance and Cybersecurity. Starting in May 2014, Tim was with GE Capital Internal Audit and served as a Director of Internal Audit Quality Assurance for Technology.
Prior to GE Capital, Tim worked at Citigroup and served as a Program Director covering technology audit within Finance, Capital Markets, Corporate Functions, Compliance and AML. During his 20-plus years with Citigroup, Tim managed numerous technology audits of information security, and application controls and served as a subject matter expert for business continuity.
Tim also developed audit guidance and training programs for application controls, end-user computing along with business continuity. Previously, Tim held various audit roles at Prudential, and at Automatic Data Processing, where he began his career as an Operations and Technical Support Manager. Tim is a Leadership Member of the NY IIA, an IIA GTAG Guidance Contributor, an officer in the RMA Internal Audit Council, and an InfraGard member (NY Chapter).
Tim holds graduate degrees from Fairleigh Dickenson University and Stevens Institute along with a BS in Accounting from the University of Scranton… and holds the CPA and CISA certifications. Tim and his family reside in Northern New Jersey.
