This presentation was excellent!! I got a lot of useful information to be able to use with clients since this is a big part of what our firm does.
GC
This was a good update and eye opener. The management agreement could cause issues if a business owner has numerous S-Corps and a management company.
KK
Introduced me to the US taxation scope on what a reasonable compensation entails and how it should be calculated. Good scoping to provide an overview.
LF
I appreciate the illustration of court cases and anaylsis of reasonable compensation, in addition to the potential for penalties for the tax preparer.
GM
Excellent course with great examples from court cases that covered the topic, but also went into other related areas. This presenter is consistently excellent with his presentations!
KM
This was a very interesting webinar. It made it clear to be careful with compensation vs distributions with regards to S corps. The cases in the webinar demonstrated the points well.
DJ
This was definitely a more beginner level for this topic, but I found the review helpful and the court cases were interesting. It was well presented and the presenter kept the topic interesting.
DW
Love the court cases cited and this definitely brought up some great points on who's earning the income as well as preparer penalties that may apply for cases where W-2 income may not be reasonable.
MN
A thorough course on reasonable compensation explaining how a one size fits all approach does not work for all and some of the pit falls that come with shareholders who take more in distributions than salary.
DK
Your presentation highlighted the key considerations in the IRS law, dispelled some of the myths about reasonable compensation "rules of thumb," and introduced some relevant court cases supporting your presentation's key takeaways.
HK
I really enjoyed this CPE. The presenter was engaging & I enjoyed the examples he gave. It was also provided in a manner in which you can be a layman (not just a tax expert) and still understand the concept. His powerpoint presentation also listed pertinent points so was a really good summary. One negative was that the 1st review question did not list a correct answer. Should have listed 3121 as an option, but listed 3131 instead.
