Job Description: 

We are seeking a skilled Odoo Engineer, focusing on executing delegated projects with precision and efficiency. This position will specialize in developing, customizing, and implementing Odoo solutions based on assigned tasks, collaborating closely with project managers to deliver high-quality ERP solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Module Development and Customization: Design, develop, and customize Odoo modules based on project requirements provided by the project manager.
• Project Execution: Implement assigned tasks, ensuring timely delivery of Odoo-based solutions, including configuration, integration, and testing.
• Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Python code for Odoo applications, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Database Management: Work with PostgreSQL to manage and optimize Odoo databases as part of assigned projects.
• Integration: Integrate Odoo with third-party applications or APIs as specified in project requirements.
• Bug Fixing and Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues in Odoo modules or workflows, ensuring seamless functionality.
• Documentation: Document technical specifications, customization, and processes for assigned tasks to support project continuity.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and other developers to ensure alignment with project goals and requirements.
• Testing and Deployment: Conduct unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) for delegated tasks, ensuring smooth deployment.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Python programming and Odoo framework.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and database management.
• Familiarity with Odoo ORM, XML, and JavaScript for front-end customization.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs for integration tasks.

Soft Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow project specifications.
• Excellent time management to meet deadlines for assigned tasks.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Odoo.sh or cloud-based Odoo deployments.
• Knowledge of business processes (e.g., manufacturing, inventory, accounting) within Odoo.
