Colorado CPA CPE Requirements Overview

CPE Requirements80 hours every two years, earning 10 hours for each full active quarter.
License Renewal Period
November 30 of odd-numbered years.
CPE Reporting CycleJanuary 1 of an even-numbered year to December 31 of an odd-numbered year.
Ethics Requirement
Four (4) hours of ethics course, of which two (2) hours may be in Colorado Rules and Regulation (CR&R).
Carryover creditColorado CPAs cannot carry over excess credits to the next reporting cycle.

Max. 20 percent (16 hours) of CPE can be in Personal Development.
