CPE Requirements80 CPE hours if they worked 3,000 or more hours in public accounting over the two years prior to renewal; all others need 60 CPE hours.

Kentucky CPE RequirementKentucky CPAs are required to complete 80 CPE hours if they have worked 3,000 hours or more in a licensed public accounting firm during the two calendar years leading up to their license renewal. All other licensees must complete 60 CPE hours during the same period.
Initial CPE HoursNew licensees in Kentucky must earn two CPE hours for each full month their license is held, up to the maximum required hours for the reporting period, if they held the license for less than two full calendar years. Ethics hours are not included in this total. View more
