I really enjoyed the AICPA Code of Conduct in the Real World course. It was very informative and interesting. There was a ton of great information included within an easily digestible format.

Going through typical ethics related courses can be rather dry and they tend to focus on the specific regulations/guidelines. I appreciate the instructor's infusion of case law examples to demonstrate the components of the Code of Conduct.

This was an excellent session! Ethics training is normally very dry and theoretical. I enjoyed the mix of theory and principle with the application to real cases. I particularly enjoyed seeing the difference between cases where I was sure that there was a legal violation as well as an ethical one - but where the court thought otherwise. It allowed me to appreciate that my own standards are higher than the law!

This was the best ethics course I have ever taken. Loved the approach of Mr. Spalding by applying it to real world situations. So helpful that he explained the conceptual framework and the thought process behind the two "pathways" and how to get and stay on them. Very good explanation of the role of personal morality in the process. He is extremely knowledgeable and easy to listen to. This course helped me tremendously as I think about my responsibilities as a CPA. Thank you, Mr. Spalding, for a job well done.
