Initial CPE requirements are based on the approval month:
- CPAs approved in April–June must complete 30 hours or 1,500 CPE minutes within the calendar year.
- CPAs approved in July–September must complete 20 hours or 1,000 CPE minutes within the calendar year.
- CPAs approved in October–December must complete 10 hours or 500 CPE minutes within the calendar year.
