The ASC 820 can be daunting when it comes to practical applicability, but this review CPE definitely aided in refreshing the application of Fair Value Measurement when in practice on engagements. Also streamlined a lot of complexities in determining which methods should be used and relevant disclosures.

As a Tax CPA, I don't encounter the need for valuations often - normally when establishing an asset list for a business or rental property. Those determinations are typically straight forward. But, this is a good review.
