Thorough explanation and covered all the main points crucial to understanding basic EPS and diluted EPS. I appreciate the speaker noting that EPS is a valuable tool to use when comparing different companies alike -- but it is not a end all be all, rather it is vital to understand the insider operations of a business, management, and analysis of financial performance metrics (both EPS and others measurements) to adequately understand the state of a firm.
