Carry Over Credits

Carryforward is limited to deficiency correction. Next-year hours may be used to cure a prior-year shortfall, and surplus hours from the immediately prior renewal period may be used to cure a current-year deficiency, but the same hours cannot be counted in both years.

Record Retention

Keep supporting documentation for at least 3 years and be prepared to provide it if selected for audit.

Renewal Fees

When renewing directly through The IIA, the listed U.S. fees are $20 for active members, $120 for active non-members, $40 for grace members, and $240 for grace non-members. Renewal pricing varies globally, and active North American members may have renewal included with membership. View more.
