I have learned something a little bit more about the 1st phase of taxes that I didn't really know. The speaker was very good and spoke clearly also. I hope to really understand how all of this works in the end!

There were many areas of tax laws enacted in the OBBB tasking effect in 2025. Some of these become permanent in 2026 and going forward. There will always be reason to verify the current laws and changes as we approach the 2026 tax season. There should be more information out there as we near the 2026 tax season, as we advise our clients and as we prepare their returns. This was a decent guide of changes and the handouts will be very helpful in reference. I do enjoy this presenter and he does attempt to clarify the information, but it is just important to realize that the best we can do right now is be aware that changes will be made. Overall, this was a very good presentation.

IRS representation is not a major component of my practice; however, the information presented was helpful in better understanding best practices in minimizing difficulty in resolving tax issues when they arise.
