At the age of 50, Terry took a gap year to travel the world with her young daughter, embracing the philosophy of valuing experiences over possessions. This journey reinforced her belief in the transformative power of learning and growth, a philosophy she brings to all her work.
She is a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) and the developer and provider of the Microsoft-approved Instructional Skills Certification (ISC) programme, a key requirement for becoming an MCT.
As a Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM), A member of the Professional Speakers Association, a TEDx Cape Town speaker coach, Terry has helped countless professionals master the art of public speaking and impactful communication. Her dynamic speaking topics include public speaking, technical skills, and AI-enhanced productivity, inspiring her audience to unlock their potential.

A graduate of the University of the Witwatersrand (BComm), Terry has extensive international experience in system analysis, design, and programming for corporate clients. She has successfully managed and delivered complex projects on time and within budget. Her career also includes creating instructional guides for Oxford University Press and other organisations, demonstrating her ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
