Course Overview

Congress believes that individuals do not adequately save for retirement, in part because small businesses fail to sponsor retirement plans.

Saving for retirement remains a critical issue for individuals across the United States. One major factor contributing to this issue is small businesses' lack of employer-sponsored retirement plans. How can small companies be incentivized to set up retirement plans that benefit owners and employees? This webinar addresses these critical questions and explores how recent legislation has opened up new opportunities for small businesses to take action.

In this CE webinar, we will break down the major provisions of these legislative acts, focusing on the benefits they provide for small business consultants and tax professionals who advise clients on retirement options. We’ll also cover the SECURE 2.0 Technical Corrections Act, which offers further refinements to the 2022 law, and review the reporting requirements of these changes.

Key topics covered:

  • SECURE Act Provisions
  • Small Business Incentives
  • Employer Contribution Requirements
  • Retirement Plan Reporting

Join this CE Course; we will ensure you are equipped to help your clients navigate the complexities of retirement planning and capitalize on the available tax benefits.
