G.T. Reilly & Company, a Milton, Mass.-based accounting firm, has announced the promotion of Sean S. McNeil to accounting & auditing director and Ryan J. McDonell to tax director. These leadership appointments reflect the firm’s ongoing commitment to professional growth and the continued delivery of high-quality services to its diverse client base.
Sean McNeil has been with the firm since 2013 and brings extensive experience in providing audit and advisory services to financial institutions, private businesses, and nonprofit organizations. He is particularly skilled in mergers and acquisitions-related engagements, where he offers critical insights and guidance throughout complex transactional processes. In his new role, McNeil will continue to lead audit engagements while playing a key role in shaping the firm’s strategic advisory services.
Ryan McDonell, promoted to tax director, joined G.T. Reilly in 2023 as a tax manager following positions at both national and regional accounting firms. With over a decade of experience, McDonell specializes in tax consulting, preparation, and review services for partnerships, pass-through entities, and corporations. He also works closely with business owners to address the tax implications of estate planning, bringing a comprehensive approach to complex client needs.
These promotions underscore G.T. Reilly’s focus on recognizing talent and deepening its leadership bench to better serve clients across industries. As directors, McNeil and McDonell will help drive the firm’s mission of delivering strategic, responsive, and technically sound professional services.
