Decker regularly monitors tax legislation and emerging tax issues and serves as a specialized resource and subject matter expert for KSM engagement teams. He is also a frequent speaker and author on federal tax issues. Decker received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and professional services from the University of Southern Indiana and a Master of Science degree in accounting from Ball State University. 

Sarah Hammond is a member of KSM’s Business Advisory Group. She serves as a trusted tax and business advisor to entrepreneurs, business owners, closely held, family-owned businesses, and private equity-owned companies across various industries. Hammond is passionate about collaborating with business owners, company leadership, and other advisors to minimize tax liability and risk while maximizing savings and planning for the future. She graduated magna cum laude from Manchester College with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and management. 

Jordan Mayer is also a member of KSM’s Business Advisory Group. He provides financial, tax, and consulting services to a wide variety of businesses and industries. Mayer uses his extensive tax knowledge to help develop strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize cash flow. He has experience in tax compliance, planning, forecasts, projections, and other general business and accounting services for entities, individuals, trusts, and estates. Mayer received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and finance from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. 

Brittany Schutter is a member of KSM’s Business Advisory Group. She provides strategic guidance to businesses and their owners on federal and multistate tax compliance and educates them on current tax legislation and emerging topics to help them make informed business decisions. Schutter has experience in mergers, acquisitions, and business restructuring, advising clients on the tax implications of those transactions. She graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Ball State University, where she also received a Master of Science degree in accounting.
