Course Description

The American Rescue Act of 2021 and the 3 CARES Acts are providing many business owners with an avalanche of cash by way of Paycheck Protection (PPP) loan extensions along with new qualification procedures, the Employee Retention Credit (ERC) and the new Restaurant Revitalization Fund (RRF) program. But the business owner needs to act now! Knowing these benefits exist and properly applying for same can be a complicated and cumbersome task.

This online Tax webinar will shed light on:

  • The main benefits of each program under the 3 Cares Acts
  • Review the basics for qualification
  • Outline steps to be taken in order to obtain the benefits
  • Case studies will be utilized and the latest Treasury guidance on all programs will be highlighted.
  • We will cover the Paycheck Protection Loan (PPP) loan extensions along with new qualification procedures, the Employee Retention Credit (ERC) and the new Restaurant Revitalization Fund (RRF) program.
  • The PPP program has been extended for new applications past the original 3-31 deadline as well as new requirements which are different from PPP round one. Learn those new qualification requirements and the new filling procedures. In addition, these claims are best collected now versus waiting for actual tax refunds. Act now!
  • The ERC is a powerful program in which we are seeing some companies receive 2-3 times the amount of dollars from this credit as they did in PPP loans in round one. The credit may be claimed by many and there are new but nuanced ways of qualifying over and above the requirements pre-CARES Act 2.0. Learn what you need to know.
  • The RRF program is specific to the restaurant industry and will provide up to a $25 billion total benefit to mostly smaller restaurants. Some parts are specific to those restaurants with revenues under $500,000.
  • Discover the qualifications required for the RRF as well as the process of applying for these outright grants of money. The program has a limit to total dollars allocated nationwide, so you must act quickly to receive your clients share.
  • Learn how the credits portions may be claimed via rapid tax refunds or credits applied directly to the quarterly 941 for tax fillings.
