Course Description

The Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) is a new loan/grant program designed to assist small businesses impacted by COVID-19. Established by the US Small Business Administration, this unique program allows loans to be forgiven, provided the funds are used in the requisite manner. Extending the program the Small Business Administration released a new, streamlined forgiveness application form for smaller PPP loans on Thursday, October 8th. This form - Form 3508S, is for loans less than $50,000 and allows for simpler forgiveness calculations, including the employer being exempt from the onerous (and complicated) FTE and wage-reduction calculations.
