The Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation distinguishes professionals who have advanced proficiency in finance, operations, strategy, and management. It is underpinned by extensive global research to maintain the highest relevance with employers, and develop competencies most in demand. CGMA designation holders qualify through rigorous education, exam, and experience requirements. They must commit to lifelong education and adhere to a stringent code of ethical conduct.
MY-CPE LLC offers Continuing Education courses for Chartered Global Management Accountants (CGMA). We are focused on providing quality continuing education to Chartered Global Management Accountants (CGMA) that incorporates the qualified subject areas. Our CPE courses are authored/reviewed by industry specialists and subject matter experts. All our courses are designed in a way to ensure that courses meet your continuing education requirements.
The Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirement for CIMA members and AICPA Associate members does not prescribe a minimum number of professional development hours. Instead, they are encouraged that they pursue professional development activities that will help them advance their career and maintain the CGMA standard of excellence. In addition, they are required to reflect on the impact and effectiveness of their professional development activities.
If you are a CGMA designation holder with Regular AICPA membership (i.e. a currently or formerly licensed U.S. CPA), you will follow the AICPA Membership CPE Requirements. If you are a currently licensed CPA, you are also responsible for complying with all applicable CPE requirements, rules, and regulations of your respective state board of accountancy.
CGMAs are required to record and report their professional development efforts.
The Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) does not pre-determine how much CPD is gained at an activity, nor does it pre-determine what qualifies as CPE for each individual CGMA designation holder. For further guidance, we have provided details for “QUALIFIES FOR” on each page of the courses about Approval/Qualifications of CPE Credits for your reference. However, it will be the responsibility of each attendee to ensure that they are eligible for the Continuing Education Credits based on their occupation/ job profile, knowledge requirements as well as guidelines laid down by their regulatory board before registering for the webinars.
