Google Fi Customers Suffer the Fallout From T-Mobile Breach. A customer data leak was confirmed by Google.
Google Fi subscribers received notice of the incident involving a "third party" in an email from the firm. This hack occurs over two weeks after T-Mobile, Google's main cellular network supplier, had its 37 million customer database compromised.
The breach exposed phone numbers, SIM card serial numbers, account status (active or inactive), account activation date, and mobile service plan details. With this info, cybercriminals can carry out a SIM swap attack.
Dr.David Utzke will cover the recent Google fi breach incident, define SIM swapping, suggest new and strict security procedures to protect cyber security, and more in this CPE webinar.
