Course Description

For many, these are the most uncertain times they have experienced. Therefore clients depend on their tax professionals to create a cash flow. 2020 will be a year when many people show a loss on their taxes. Creating cash flow for your clients could make the tax professional a hero. 

The new CARES Act Legislation allows your clients to use certain strategies to decrease their taxes or possibly get a refund. They are as follows:

  • Bonus Depreciation
  • Section 179 

The webinar provides key strategies that can help your clients not pay taxes or potentially tap into the CARES Act changes of net operating losses (NOLs). 

NOLS can now be used to increase cash-flow by carrying back those losses 5 years to provide a refund. The webinar will review how they can maximize expense through the 2014 Repair Regulations, then once they must capitalize an item, strategies like Cost Segregation or QIP that allow them to maximize bonus depreciation and Section 179 to defer taxes and reduce their current tax liability.

Warren Dazzio is executive Vice President of CSSI. He has extensive knowledge of tax law and consults with CPAs, Accounting Professionals, and building owners to reduce their taxable income.  He travels the US providing educational conferences and webinars on tax law and solutions for accounting professionals, building owners, wealth managers and real estate professionals. Warren has spoken for state and national CPA Associations and industry associations. He graduated from Franciscan University in Steubenville, OH and has an MBA from Louisiana State University.
