It would be important for the FTB to be properly addressed as the Franchise Tax Board vs. the Franchise Tax Bureau. When you have a monotone voice, spice things up vs reading through text. If you enjoy what you are talking about others will too :-).

It was a good seminar on CA taxes

The questions on the quiz and final exam felt almost unrelated to the video present and the handout. One example was that I was asked about unreimbursed expenses and whether they are taken by California or Federal. The form 2106 is mentioned in the answers but is never referred to in the handout, and none of the material given refers back to form 2106. I could not review many questions. It does not make sense if I read a book on how to build a car and then on the exam I am asked how much do I need to spend to buy all the parts. When I have to go outside the information given to find the answer then I feel that the topic was not discussed properly. Aside from that, the main topics that were presented in the video were addressed. I personally felt that this topic should have been split into two parts.

The Presentation was excellent. The course materials did not match the presenter's slideshow. I downloaded one from the email reminder and another one from the MyCpe website, and they were both different, but neither was the same as the presenter's slideshow.
