The course was engaging and offered information about marriage in the tax code that was new to me. MyCPE courses are presented in an easy online format.
ED
This webinar was a super interesting history of marriage and taxes. It used several examples to illustrate why there are different filing status and how being married or single will affect how much tax a taxpayer will owe.
OM
I never had an appreciation of the evolution of taxation of those who are married. The government's design is to profess equality but to primarily raise capital. The seminar clearly reflected that the income taxation in the history of the United States has been to raise capital for arms and armaments for war.
