NPO Audit

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced NPO, HUD, EBP and Single Audit Manager to oversee and manage our auditing processes for non-profit organizations, particularly those funded by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with federal regulations, facilitate audits, and implement best practices in financial management and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of single audits for NPOs, ensuring compliance with HUD regulations and other relevant guidelines.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and federal requirements.
• Develop and implement audit strategies and plans, including risk assessments and timelines.
• Liaise with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth audit processes.
• Provide training and support to NPOs on financial management practices and compliance requirements.
• Monitor and evaluate financial performance and compliance of NPOs, recommending improvements as necessary.
• Stay updated on changes in regulations, policies, and best practices affecting non-profit organizations and HUD funding.
