Yes, the Board has the authority to make exceptions for reasons such as health, military service, or retirement. Requests for exceptions should be made in writing to the Board before the applicable renewal period.
Individuals who have not held a permit for the full biennial reporting period due to initial licensure or reinstatement may be exempted from the continuing professional education requirements for that reporting period.
