This class was really great. It is funny how we are managed in such a way over time (as women) and we don't think about how we can move the needle for others when we are managers. This class made me think differently about a new initiative we are taking on at our company - 12 weeks paid leave for maternity/paternity. Just because I had to muscle through without that doesn't mean we should stay stagnant. We can be a leader of change and maybe when my kids have their babies they will have more options that level the playing field!
