Course Overview

A company generally has two employee-facing functions: Human resources and Payroll. These two should ideally work together in harmony, but what has to happen for them to work smoothly together?

Payroll professionals are the last step in ensuring employees get what they signed up for: literally! Allowances, benefits, and most importantly, their pay. But what does payroll need from HR to make sure that happens?

This CPE course will review the relationship between HR and payroll (sometimes within the same department) and what payroll professionals need to expect from their HR team. Loads of confidential employee information need to be efficiently, discreetly, and securely transferred from HR to payroll. When dealing with something as important as employee paychecks, payroll must be as accurate as possible since it affects the employee and their family.

In this online webinar, speaker Aaron Riedthaler will discuss the relationship between HR and payroll and what payroll should expect from the HR team. This course covers the following topics:

  • Human resources tasks
  • Payroll-related tasks and information filtering
  • Establishing SOPs regarding data transfers
  • Ensuring data integrity through auditing

Join this CPE webinar; it will give you tools and tips on what payroll needs from HR to correctly and efficiently calculate employee paychecks and meet employee expectations regarding their pay and benefits.
