Ms. Terry-Washington currently has a consulting business, RTW Xxact Enterprises, LLC (WBENC/8A) specializing in the Accounting, Finance and Tax areas. Ms. Terry-Washington has worked in Controllership positions for over 20 years with a combined 30+ years of professional experience. Additionally, she is a Strategic Partner with Intuit software firm, Partner/CFO with CLC Stokes Consulting Group, LLC (Ohio based) and Consultant for the President’s Council AYB (At Your Business), Urban League of Cleveland as well as preferred vendor with other community-based organizations. 

Ms. Terry-Washington began her career at the IRS as a Field Agent and went on to Big 4 Public Accounting working for Ernst and Young in audit and spent a number of years in banking in a variety of positions. She has worked in the financial services industry the bulk of her career but also has worked in telecommunications, real estate & construction, private equity, manufacturing and a variety of other industries.

She worked as Treasurer/Controller for Nsoro Mastec, LLC and was part of the executive team who took the company from private to public. She was Controller of North America Operations for Premiere Global Services upon her arrival to the Atlanta area from Cleveland, Ohio. Her branding or specialty is in restructuring operations, reengineering processes, technical accounting research and application, including revenue recognition, project management and talent development. 

Ms. Terry-Washington has implemented and completed SOX compliance (Section 404) testingfor almost every position held. She also has significant experience with system implementations and overhauling of shared services (Accounts Payable, Receivable, Payroll, Purchasing, Fixed Assets, Inventory and Procurement). Ms. Terry-Washington has a significant amount of experience with developing and monitoring budgets and forecasts as well as development and implementation of cash management forecasting.

Ms. Terry-Washington received a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Notre Dame College, a Master of Business from Baldwin Wallace College and is a Certified Public Accountant as well as a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. Ms. Terry-Washington served as a Leadership Coach for the Executive MBA program at Kennesaw University, Cole’s school of Business. In 2004 she was inducted into the Forty-Forty Club and featured in Kaleidoscope magazine for her impact in business and community affairs. She served several years as Treasurer for Council in the Ward in which she resided in Ohio. She also was an Adjunct Professor at Notre Dame College teaching Federal Income Tax. Ms. Terry-Washington also served on the Board of the National Black MBA Association and is a member of the AICPA, NABA, NATP, GA and OH State Society of CPAs, US Small Business Chamber of Commerce, Cleveland and Atlanta Black Chamber and past Treasurer for the Ohio Black Chamber President’s Council Political Action Committee. Ms. Terry-Washington gives back to the communities through her Nonprofit, RTW Academy, Inc. and through community-based collaborations hosting webinars and teaching financial literacy.
