In financial transactions, fraud can take many forms, such as fraud that can be lurking within the accounts payable department of the company , fraudulent debit, and credit card transactions have also increased with the increase in online sales, fraud in the cash accounts and cash maintained at a business location, inventory-related frauds, and more accounting fraud scams.

This CPE Fraud webinar will cover various methodologies for detecting accounts payable fraud, types of credit card frauds that occur in businesses, internal controls to help prevent and detect cash frauds, issues of inventory frauds, implement policies, procedures, and strategies to identify, eliminate and prevent fraud and more.

Major topics discussed in this course are:

  • Frauds being committed and uncovered
  • Review various methodologies for detecting cash fraud
  • Develop internal controls to help prevent and detect inventory fraud
  • Discuss accounts payable frauds

The course was both interesting and taught very well. It held my interest and also taught me a few things. It certainly reminded me of things I should look for more often and tasks I should ensure my staff are undertaking regularly.

Thomas Conlon, CPA (US)

This is the first course in this area and it provided everything I expected. I will probably take additional courses in this area in the future.
