Projects are unique. Therefore, all projects have an element of uncertainty or risk. The organization and project team must determine if the inherent risk within a project is acceptable before initiating or continuing a project. This requires an evaluation of the risks and an assessment of the organization’s appetite for risk.
A project is a set of interconnected tasks intended to attain a certain goal, with a particular series of resources, within a fixed duration and cost. Risk comprises two factors: the probability of its occurrence, and the consequences if it does so.
This online CPE webinar will present several methods of project risk evaluation and discuss when are the appropriate circumstances to use each method.
