Course Description

Using the IF Function is a common feature that most of us utilize in an Excel worksheet. But many of us do not realize about what can go awry in some cases with using this feature. Well, here is the answer to it. Our eminent EXCEL Expert brings here step-wise details on this IF Function right from its basics and beyond. Also he shares the alternatives to this Function which includes various functions such as IFS, CHOOSE, VLOOKUP, SUMIF and several others. This presentation also explores techniques useful in verifying that formulas such as nested IF statements are working properly.

Every technique is demonstrated at least twice by David, firstly by means of a PowerPoint slide with numbered steps and secondly in a subscription-based MS Office 365 version of Excel. David also draws your attention to differences in the older versions of Excel (i.e. 2019, 2016, 2013, etc)in his presentation and detailed handouts. He also has shared an Excel workbook that includes most of the examples used during the webcast.

David explains the subscription-based product 'Office 365' providing new feature updates as often as monthly as against the perpetual licensed versions of Excel such as Excel 2019, Excel 2016, and so on, which does not update and include latest features.
