Ben Durham Joins ML&R as Business Development Manager

Maxwell Locke & Ritter has announced the addition of Ben Durham as its new Business Development Manager. In this strategic role, Durham will lead initiatives aimed at fostering firm growth, deepening community engagement, and expanding relationships across the Greater Austin area.

Durham brings a strong track record of regional business development, beginning his career in Central Texas at Johnson Controls. His journey has included impactful roles at ADP and Paylocity, followed by experience building a sales program for an international startup. Throughout his career, Durham has maintained a consistent focus on cultivating long-term relationships that contribute to business and community success.

When asked about his decision to join ML&R, Durham cited the firm’s culture as a key factor. He noted the collaborative, service-minded atmosphere and the deep-rooted commitment to the Central Texas community. His role will focus not only on elevating ML&R’s presence among established businesses but also on introducing the firm to new companies relocating to the Austin region.

Durham expressed enthusiasm for the local business climate, praising Austin’s entrepreneurial spirit and vibrant culture. A longtime local himself, he enjoys attending University of Texas football games and spending time wakesurfing on Lake Travis with his wife. He also shared his appreciation for Austin’s food scene, with personal favorites including Franklin Barbecue and Matt’s El Rancho.

In his new role, Durham is looking forward to partnering with the ML&R team to help clients and community organizations achieve their goals—an extension of the firm’s mission to deliver exceptional service and support to businesses across the region.
