Like it or not, budgeting season rolls around every year. A budget shouldn’t be a document that is prepared once and set aside. It should be a living document that is integral to running your business or organization. Whether this is your first time through or you are a seasoned pro, this session is designed to kick off the cobwebs and revisit some fundamental approaches to budgeting.
In this 1 CPE webinar, the attendee will be able to learn different budgeting methods like Incremental Budgeting, Activity-based budgeting, Value proposition budgeting, and Zero-based budgeting. To create a more realistic budget you need to consider various factors like which expenditures are more important, communicate with various department heads before finalizing, and so on. It has never been an easy task but with proper planning and execution, you will be able to build your own budget.

This is probably the best training that I have taken for a while. The slides were concise and to the point and Lucas was very knowledgable. Plus I liked the fact that he stated the answers to the polling questions. That is the first time that I have taken a myCPE class where the instructor talked about the polling questions. Great job!

This has been my favorite CPE credit so far offered through myCPE (including those I paid for). Presenter kept a good cadence, brought the right amount of materials for the hour, and went over the answers from polling questions. Will recommend this topic/presenter to others.

Lots of good tips, especially recognizing the difference between budgeting revenue and cash flow. This is something I have been struggling to make my supervisors understand that we need different projections for both.

Lucas was a great, engaging speaker -- his jokes made me chuckle a few times. I'm a former auditor (now FP&A staff) so this webinar was applicable and interesting.
