The capital asset pricing model (CAPM) is a fundamental method in corporate finance used to determine the required rate of return on investment given its risk profile. The CAPM is also widely used in practice, in particular, to estimate firms’ cost of (equity) capital.

This course will cover what is needed to calculate the Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM) and where business valuators use the CAPM.
