A registrant must report, at a minimum, the CPE hours required for the registration renewal period. Hours that exceed the number required for the current registration renewal period may not be carried forward to a subsequent registration renewal period.
Any Massachusetts (MA) CPA who fails to complete the CPE by June 30th is in non-compliance and failure to meet the CPE requirements for renewal during the renewal period may result in disciplinary action and the license will be lapsed. The CPA will be required to pay late renewal fees of $57 along with renewal fees of $161 after completing the required CPE hours.
