The webinar was by far better compared to most I have attended. The presenter was well prepared and fluent on the subject matter. I would not mind attending a longer webinar session by such a knowledgeable speaker. I am satisfied with my experience on MyCPE platform.

The webinar was very detailed. I understood the subject in depth and will cherish the experience for a long time. MyCPE is a good platform. I recommend it

I enjoyed the delivery of the webinar. It is possible only with a skilled presenter having years of practical knowledge. I recommend my CPE because I can recall more than I thought I can.

The course helped me with insights into certain factors I was not aware of. This will help my clients save quite a bit of money and work smoothly. I recommend MyCPE.

Fantastic webinar. It is one of the best courses I have attended on the subject. It was a relevant subject for me personally. I learned valuable lessons and will help my clients with the same. Well done MyCPE.

I am fully satisfied with the webinar experience. The presenter was skilled and experienced with subject and presentation. Excellent webinar conducting skills. Answered all my questions. It was worth the time and efforts.

I was very happy with the presentation. The instructor was very thorough and gave specific examples all along the presentation. Addressed the judgements needed for policy presentation. An absolute bang for the buck. Yes, it could have been faster, but no regrets. Highly recommended.

MS

The speaker spoke at a perfect pace, the content was very rich and engaging. The presenter made sure each and every point was explained very well. Easy to understand guidance. Thank you Michael.

The course was a good general overview of IFRS Financial Statement presentation guidelines. The pace was a bit slow. I was hoping for some real-world examples of IFRS financial statements and disclosures to help with understanding the material better.

SL

Thanks so much for a very good presentation. This was especially important information for me as I am a not-for-profit CFO but I teach in an accounting program. Because of my focus, there are a number of areas in the for-profit world that I lack clear knowledge of. Mike's presentation was very helpful for my in the area of SPACs. Thank you!

MB

This webinar was full of information! I really learned a lot. My company has not undertaken any accounting changes since the Lease accounting changed, but you never know when you will need to know these things.

DZ

TP

Instructor to monotone and not interesting to keep my attention.

CC

presented a lot of detailed information so I am sure I will have to refer back to the presentation material at some point

JM

I would recommend including an example at the begging in of the presentation that the instructor can use throughout the presentation to illustrate the material. I would have liked real life examples throughout.

JCC

Instructor was was monotonous

HD

Not very interesting

JP

Good information provided

NS

Effective presentation, just did not relate to my current job

RE

Just okay

JK

OK information. Just seemed kind of basic.

JK

Course was basic, but ok as a general refresher.

DC

The content was good, the sound quality was very poor.

JL

N/A

DM

The course was titled Single Audit Pandemic Aid and Major Program Determinations; however, the course was focused on entry level things like what a Single Audit is. There was really no discussion of Major Programs OR Pandemic Aid.

HT

The material covered by this course is quite extensive and would merit more time , the course provided a very high level explanation of mining relevant IFRS and IAS , also I though it would cover IFRS 20 Capitalization of waste removal cost which is quite particular to the mining industry but it was not part of the course.

TF

Michael clearly has vast experience. However, he spoke so slowly, stopping frequently, as to probably make the presentation longer than it needed to be.

MW

The presenter spoke very slowly and I found myself losing my train of thought often while listening to him.

RT

The instructor, while knowledgeable, came across as very dry and it was difficult to maintain interest with the way in which he presented the material. Very robotic and low inflection.

LV

The audio was choppy at times.

BG

Unfortunately what the FASB has been working on in 2021 has NO relevance to my practice over the last almost 50 years. But then again how relevant is the FASB to Main Street accountants for quite some time? NOT your fault or that of the speaker.

JK

Instructor presented in a monotone and at a constant pace, almost putting me to sleep.

BH

If the instructor was a little more dynamic, this material could have been covered in 4 hours. The pace of the class was brutally slow.

JP

positive - good information presented in a straightforward way

DC

The polling questions, the correct answers were not given on some of them, so you didn't know if you got the answer correct.

JP

lots of good information

AP

no comments

GL

Not very informative or valuable for practical application, though that may be in large part to the short time allotted for such a broad subject.

MB

VERY basic

MA

Subject matter was great and teacher was knowledgeable but he dragged out the class. Pace was too slow and this could have been done in an hour.

VF

This is a very basic presentation.

SH

The webinar fullfill part of my CPE requirements for the year.

BB

Well delivered content. Might not have needed it to be 2 hours

FV

Material was great but the presentation was not engaging

NH

it was ok, very low level

DR

the instructor was knowledgeable, but the content seemed very unstructured and was hard to follow. lots of theory, but few examples.

JJ

Not one of the better instructors - very uninteresting

RG

The recommended audience should be changed to those with little to no prior auditing experience. I felt I was sitting in AUD101 all over again and the instructor spoke so slowly, without real inflection, and had strange pauses in the middle of words or sentences which caused the program to lose my attention.

RC

not targeted to specific aspect of IFRS regs, spent too much time on ancillary topics

JE

This course in general is a bit dry, and unfortunately the instructor did not help spruce the material up. The examples used didn't lend itself to better understand the material. Very slow paced.

TD

Usually the myCPE presenters are lively and engaging. This one literally read over 100 slides and didn't provide any useful, unique or helpful insights. The course title said "real life examples" and the real life examples were done as a bullet point with a "you can research them on your own" caveat. This was a real disappointing 2 hours and $20 spent.

EB

Very high-level overview with over half the material being basic accounting concepts rather than actual financial statement analysis. I did not find 80% of the material informative or useful for my position.

PWF

This was not a good program. I can't recall ever being so bored. I was expecting something technical, about obscure areas of accounting. Instead, it was two very long hours of GAAP bashing and Grandpa Simpson onion belt stories. Nonetheless I remain a my-cpe devotee, and value the platform. Really, this has been the only bad program I have ever watched on my-cpe. And I reiterate, the hosts couldn't be more affable. (In a prior evaluation, I may have inadvertently said so of the presenters. But the hosts are really great.) Gentlemen, no apology is necessary. No one is perfect all the time. My-cpe's record speaks for itself. Keep up the good work.

SB

There were several times that there was background noise that was distracting. The speaker was not the most engaging.

LS

I did not get much from the class. Instructor was not engaging and basically read his material.

MK

Good experience

BM

Extremely simplistic and not at all appropriate for a CPA review course. Presenter kept confusing corporate expenses with employee expense reporting.

AH

I had already taken prior courses related to ASC 606 in general. I signed up for this class hoping it would have more focus on the construction industry. I was disappointed to discover it was another course on the basics.

MR

IFRS 9 is such a technical and complex standard, and the trainer was the most monotone, boring presenter I've ever seen. Did not take any questions, read *paragraphs* of text from the slide. Would not recommend.

AH

The instructor's voice very hard to listen to for 2 hours. Very monitone and quite boring.

JK

This course took a Boring topic and made it even more BORING than watching paint dry. It was only micro amount above watching dirt age. The Instructor's monotone delivery is as unenthusiastic as preparing for a colonoscopy. And to top it off, all the review questions were covered in the presentation when over 60% of the presentation remained. I would have not stayed all the way through to the end except for the fact I really wanted the 2 hours CPE. Next time I might decide otherwise.

PT

anyone can read screens. he needs to learn to just talk about the subject and make sure it fits into 50 minutes per hour. talking for more than 50 minutes shows he does not respect our time.
