My friends and family call me Safie. I’m a Certified Public Accountant and IRS Enrolled Agent serving clients across the U.S. I developed a passion for accounting in High School while taking my first bookkeeping course.
In 2002, I graduated magna cum laude from SUNY Albany with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. In 2005, I graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Master of Science Degree in Taxation. In addition to obtaining my CPA and EA licenses, I am also a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
I spent 16 years in the Public Accounting industry. Then, in 2014, I started SDR Consulting in order to spend more quality time with my family. I was able to utilize my years of experience in Public Accounting to serve startups, small business owners, and the real estate industry.
During my time as an accountant, I have also developed a passion for helping taxpayers in trouble. In 2016 I began offering services in the Tax Resolution Industry, as well. I’ve successfully helped many clients resolve their tax debt while also continuing to provide successful tax & accounting strategies to small business owners and those within the real estate industry.
I’m married with two wonderful children and in my spare time, I love to dance! Accounting and taxation have been an exciting journey. It’s very rewarding to be a vital component of the success of many small business clients by serving as their Business Advisor. What’s going on in your journey?
