Vanessa is specialized in cybersecurity and data governance law and teaches as an Adjunct Professor in the Master in Cybersecurity Law of St-Thomas University in Florida. She is a Certified Data Protection Officer and a Lead Implementor for ISO 27701. In 2020, she has been honored as Top 20 Women in Cybersecurity by IT World Canada. She sits in the board of directors of various non-for-profit in the filed of data governance.
