Course Description

Working from home sometimes requires more self-discipline to be productive or, alternatively, results in long hours because the office is always an arm's reach away. Establishing a routine by creating a series of consistent, healthy habits can result in productive work so you can relax at the end of the day.

Despite endless statistics about how remote work increases productivity, working from home is a relatively new concept that takes a lot of trial and error before finding a routine that works. Productivity isn’t an innate skill. It’s not even a skill really – it’s a series of habits that take consistent patience to build.

Are you working long hours and have a hard time shutting down? Are you distracted by over communication from your colleagues or noises from your family in the next room? Working from home can be filled with distractions and procrastination if not handled effectively.

In this webinar attendees will learn techniques to :

  • Establish distraction-free focus time for both colleagues and family
  • Set boundaries for remote work interruptions and over-communication
  • Incorporate movement and meal habits to increase productivity and creativity
  • Recharge your brain and body with morning and evening transitions

Attendees leave with new strategies to incorporate simple behavior changes to focus at home and create firm boundaries. Each attendee can opt for an electronic resource guide to continue the work after the session.

Webinar Qualifies for

  • 1 CPE credit of Personal Development for all CPAs
  • 1 CPD credit (Verifiable) for Canadian CPAs
  • 1 General Educational credit for Tax Professionals/Bookkeepers/Accountants

Learning objectives

  • To set boundaries for remote work interruptions and over-communication
  • To incorporate movement and meal habits to increase productivity and creativity
  • To recharge your brain and body with morning and evening transitions
