Dr Robert provided a lot of information regarding to protect the identity of tax clients. This included various methods to ensure authentication of the respective client. The IRS does require practitioners to be able to document (drivers license) if their identity is compromised. Also, reviewed ways identity is stolen including safeguards to protect against identity theft.

This was an exceptional presentation and should be required for anyone handling sensitive client tax data.
