AFSP Professionals have the following CE requirements:

  • 18 hours of CE annually for PTIN holders required to complete the AFTR course.
  • 15 hours of CE annually for PTIN holders exempt from the AFTR course.
  • 2 hours of ethics.
  • Reporting cycle - January 1 to December 31, annually. 
  • 100% of CE can be completed through self-study courses.
  • Courses must be from IRS-approved providers.
