Bankruptcy is a legal process designed to relieve honest but unfortunate debtors of their debts. At the end of the process, the bankrupt is released from the obligation to repay the debts they had when the bankruptcy was filed (with some exceptions).
It is often necessary for accountants to assist their employer or client with bankruptcy issues. This CPE webinar is designed for accountants who are working with or assisting clients going through bankruptcy.
With the global pandemic and economic shutdown, many accountants could find themselves in this position. This CPE webinar will not provide legal advice that is for the attorneys. It will discuss assisting clients with filing financial reports for the bankruptcy trustee and court.
