Course Overview

Life insurance is a crucial part of any financial plan, but it can be a confusing landscape to navigate. From term policies to whole life and permanent insurance, the options can seem overwhelming.

People acquire life insurance all the time but many do not understand the inner workings. For example, many people know about terms while others understand whole life or permanent insurance. Most individuals who buy life insurance get an individual policy that pays out only if the insured person dies. A couple has another alternative: instead of buying many separate individual policies, they may invest in joint life insurance.

Are you and your spouse considering life insurance policies but feeling overwhelmed by the options?

This CPE Finance Webinar will take a deep dive into the world of joint life insurance policies and explore why this type of policy may serve a better purpose for you and your partner. Don't miss this opportunity to demystify the world of life insurance and take control of your financial future.

Key Topics discussed in this webinar:

  • Important Reasons for Life Insurance, and 8 Essential Planning Pillars
  • Myths About Life Insurance
  • What is Life Insurance, Asset Classes, What Counts as An Asset, and if Life Insurance is an Asset
  • Life Insurance Types, Business Insurance funded with Life Insurance
  • When You Buy Life Insurance and Types of Life Insurance Settlements
  • Benefits and Disadvantages of Joint Life Policy

Information was good. Presenter appears very knowledgeable about the subject. Slides were good. My complaints are very picky but…. Presenter must have had a cold because he cleared his throat every few minutes which drove me nuts!! I found myself clearing my own throat every time he did. Poll questions said you had 1 minute to answer; it was closer to 20 - 30 seconds. The AI generated moderator voice sounds like Mr. Magoo. I grow weary of the same narrative at the beginning and end of each session. I’ve come to mute that horrible voice. The sentence at the end about paucity of time grates on my nerves. Very picky, picky critiques. Information and format are great; attempt to make it seem like “real time” gets a C grade.

Excellent presentation on pros (and cons) of joint life insurance policies, with a good refresher on basic life insurance concepts.
