Terminating employees can be a difficult process for any employer for a lot of reasons, even if it’s necessary for the best interests of your business. However, if an employer violates any laws, they could be brought to court for wrongful termination. While an employer can never fully eliminate the possibility of legal action by a terminated employee, they can take steps to minimize their potential liability.
