Course Description
Within this segment of our
controllership series, we will discuss the area of inventory. This specific
segment is the first part of a two-part series on inventory. We understand the
primary role of an inventory controller. The inventory controller handles
inventory-related tasks in a warehouse setting for their organization. Their
primary duties include maintaining levels of inventory, reporting monthly
inventory levels, labeling and recording inventory for future use, and
maintaining accurate records.
In this controllership series
webinar, we will explore how the controller can move these responsibilities
into more of a strategic role.
This online CPE course will take
a look at the following key topics to explore the subject:
- Some of the typical concepts and duties involved
in the inventory function are sometimes viewed as operational roles.
- We will explore how these areas are strongly tied
to the importance of the controllership role and
- How the controller can add value in each area.
