Three crucial forms for the payroll department are briefly reviewed in this webinar. First the 2023 Form W-2, then the 2023 Form W-4, and ultimately the 2023 IRS Form 941 and Schedule B. Each of these forms is essential for computing, monitoring, paying, and disclosing taxes for every employee.

One of the most critical forms that payroll departments need to process is the Form W-2. Basic information on the IRS Form W-2 for 2023 is covered in this course. In addition to a box-by-box breakdown, we look at the prerequisites for filling out and submitting the form.

The importance of Form W-4 is fundamental to the payroll department. It is the foundation for the taxation of an employee's paycheck as well as a required IRS form. This CE Tax Webinar takes a broad look at the IRS Form W-4 for 2023 and what’s in store for payroll in the new year. This includes new wording changes, the requirements for completing the form properly, handling non-resident aliens, state equivalent forms, and record retention requirements.
