This course discusses proposed regulations for the Clean Vehicle Credit (CVC), which is a tax credit given to manufacturers of plug-in electric and hybrid vehicles. The proposed regulations aim to clarify certain aspects of the CVC, such as the credit amount, the phase-out threshold, and the allocation of credits among manufacturers.
The proposed regulations for the Clean Vehicle Credit seek to clarify the credit amount and the phase-out threshold for each qualified plug-in electric and hybrid vehicle, as well as the allocation of credits among manufacturers. This includes a proposed formula based on the number of vehicles sold and their battery capacity. The aim is to encourage the production and sale of these vehicles, thereby reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving air quality.
Join this Nano Learning course led by Nicholas Preusch to gain an understanding of the Clean Vehicle Credit and the proposed regulations surrounding it.
