Are You Ready for the FinCEN Beneficial Ownership Rules in 2024?
In this CPE course, we unveil essential insights into the impending FinCEN beneficial ownership rules set to take effect in 2024. These rules mandate reporting of beneficial owners for certain entities, with a primary focus on smaller businesses registered with the secretary of state.
But how can professionals in the accounting and auditing field stay ahead in this changing landscape?
We delve into the valuable resources provided by FinCEN to facilitate compliance. These resources include a small entity compliance guide, FAQs, a quick reference guide, and informative videos, all designed to simplify the complexities of these regulations, making them more accessible to small businesses. This nano course outlines some exemptions from reporting and outlines the criteria for exemption for large operating companies. Moreover, he underscores the importance of understanding these rules and proactively informing clients of these new compliance requirements.
At this time, Nano-learning is not accepted by all state boards. If you are not sure whether your state board accepts Nano-learning, you can ask your state board or visit the NASBA registry.
