Many firms who have wrestled with issues of client scope have accidentally over invested in work. It can be easy to find yourself in a situation where you realize you and the client didn’t have a solid agreement on what that work would mean from a scope or billing perspective, but maybe you feared losing the client, so you did the work.

In this webinar we discuss effective means to submit a change of scope notification to your client and how to set boundaries with your current scope as you provide additional client care. Accountants often struggle to either catch or notify their clients on time when their work is out of scope. An accounting firm can run an efficient and profitable operation through proper scope management. It is the partners’ responsibility to provide proper scope management tools for their managers and their teams so that they are able to stay on top of their scope without too much admin work. This course introduces tools and tactics that can help provide such support.
